Tell me about the Events pageThe Events page features thousands of art exhibitions and events. You can browse and search the results using several filters such as venue, event type, and exhibiting artists. You can also add your own events, by clicking “add public event”, to let other ArtCalendr users know about them. If the venue is not listed in ArtCalendr, you will have to click on the “Not Listed?” link to enter your venue details.
Yes. You can add a private event, by clicking “add private event” under the “add art event” tab. You can then add these events to your personal ArtCalendr diary.
Event Detail pages detail information on an event and the venue it is taking place at. Event Detail pages can also feature images of the event, an interactive map of the event’s location, and user reviews and ratings of the event. You can also join a venue’s mailing list or contact the venue directly from the page.
The interactive maps allow you to view a venue’s location while you are viewing the venue’s profile page. The maps will also display the location of all the events you plan to attend, both public and private.
Featured Events are art exhibitions or events that ArtCalendr brings to your attention – this may be because they’re likely to be of great interest, or because we want to show you something new. The Featured events buttons are also a quick and easy way to view events taking place in the next 30 days in major cities such as Paris and Berlin, as well as satellite events taking place around major art fairs and biennales.
You can search for events by country, city, or by venue name. You can also perform an advanced search, by selecting specific search criteria such as event type, venue type, and date parameters.
The Pick of the Month events are selected by the ArtCalendr team each month.
Your Diary is the easiest way to organize your art life. Browse ArtCalendr’s comprehensive listings of art exhibitions and events, then add anything that interests you to your Artcalendr Diary. You can also add private events to your ArtCalendr Diary.
The interactive maps in your ArtCalendr diary display the location of all the events you plan to attend.
Click the “Add to Diary” link under the event that you’re interested in. Then select as many personal dates as you wish, and click “I’m Going” to have the event added to your personal diary.
Yes. Click the event you want to export. Then click “Download to your computer” on the right hand side. Then select the relevant dates, select the format to export with (choose from Google, Yahoo, iCal or Outlook), and click “I’m going”.
Yes. Simply click on the event that you’re interested in. Then click the “Send event to a friend” link. Enter your friend’s name and email address, and click “Send”.
Yes. When viewing an event, just click “Printer friendly” version.
Use the “Contact us” form at the bottom of the page.
Yes, use the “Contact us” form to send us the details, or you can add it yourself by registering on ArtCalendr, clicking the “add an event” tab, and the “add a venue” link.
The Art Finder lets you find all the galleries which feature an artist you are interested in, and also displays the venue information. You can set up your personal alerts for both artists and venues directly from the Art Finder.
The To Do list and the Idea Pad are places for you to quickly and easily make notes and reminders for yourself. Each time you login to ArtCalendr, a red alert on the home page will remind you of your To Do list. You can edit and delete items on the list as required, by clicking the “edit” and “delete” links at the bottom of the page.

What should I do if I forget or lose my password?Click the “Forgot your password?” link under the login section on the home page. 'Simply enter your email address and we'll email you a link to reset your password.
We ask you for your location so that we can provide you with details of events going on in your area. You can search for events worldwide, but ArtCalendr will always suggest events going on near you when you first login.
Alerts let you know about events that you have a particular interest in. You can set your alerts according to venue, category or artist.
Simply click on the “set alerts” link on the home page, enter the name of the artist you’d like to hear about, and the email address you’d like the alert to be sent to. When you are viewing an event or a venue, you can also click “add alert” on the left had side of the detail page, and set alerts for a venue or a particular type of event.
