  Bend in the River is an art gallery that exhibits and sells contemporary art from a showroom in a Georgian warehouse adjacent to the River Trent. Its sister project, Slumgothic, is the driving force behind an ambitious project at the redundant church of St John the Divine, Gainsborough. Slumgothic aims to deliver a vast arts project space plus two community rooms and a base for Gainsborough and District Heritage Association.
