An exhibition exploring the role of fantastic stories and modern fairy tales in contemporary video art.

Drawing on the museum’s collection of significant video artworks, Once Upon a Time explores how contemporary artists adapt motives and narrative techniques from myths, fables and fairy tales to hold a mirror up to current social phenomena and recent events. The exhibition includes works by a number of well-known artists, including Aleksandra Mir, Francis Alÿs and Mika Rottenberg.
