Yan Pei-Ming's first UK gallery show in over 10 years, with an installation by Huang Yong Ping.

Destinies is Yan Pei-Ming’s first gallery exhibition in the UK in over ten years. For this occasion, he has completed a new series of large canvases including two portraits of Queen Elizabeth II and a self-portrait. Alongside Yan Pei-Ming the gallery is showing a new site specific installation by Huang Yong Ping, dealing with the controversial relationship between artist and art dealer.

    First batch of Gwangju Biennale artists announced
     

    oldest art biennial (it's in Korea) titled 1000 Lives, due to open on 3 September of this year and to be curated by the New Museum's Massimiliano Gioni have been revealed. Gioni likens his show to a 'gallery of portraits or a dysfunctional family album', although as far as News can tell he could have just deployed the second simile as it already includes the first.
