BALTIC Centre for Contemporary Art proudly announces a major exhibition of internationally renowned American artist Jenny Holzer opening on Friday 5 March 2010.

IFor her new exhibition, Holzer will present work spanning the last two decades, filling two floors of BALTIC's galleries. Including painting and sculpture as well as her spectacular LED installations, the exhibition is Holzer's largest and most comprehensive for fifteen years and the first od it's scale to be shown in the UK.

  Jeff Koons to create 17th BMW art car

   

  Following in the footsteps of artists such as Andy Warhol, David Hockney, Jenny Holzer, Roy Lichtenstein, Frank Stella, Robert Rauschenberg and Olafur Eliasson, Jeff Koons is set to create an 'art car' for BMW. No details of the design are available as yet, but Koons has apparently been discussing the idea with the German automobile manufacturer since 2003, and U2's Bono has claimed that Koons is the one artist who can 'design a car that would make the world fall in love with automobiles again'....
